Rox Resources Limitedis a mineral exploration company with three Australian assets at various levels of development, the Mt Fisher Gold and Fisher East Nickel Projects (WA), the Reward Zinc-Lead Project (NT) and the Bonya Copper Project (NT).

Following another successful year of exploration at Fisher East, Rox announced a total project resource of 3.6 million tonnes at 2.0 percent nickel containing 72,100 tonnes of contained nickel in September 2014. With 52% of the total resource classified as Indicated, Rox is undertaking further regional exploration of its tenements to increase the project resource whilst considering its mining and processing options.

The Mt Fisher gold project currently contains a mineral resource of 973,000 tonnes grading 2.75 g/t gold for 86,000 ounces of gold. Rox is continuing to explore the tenements to increase current gold resources and to discover new deposits, with the target a multi-million ounce deposit of the Bronzewing style.

The Reward project is favourably located in the Mt Isa-McArthur River belt which is considered to be one of the world’s most well-endowed zinc-lead regions, containing approximately 20% of the world’s zinc reserves. The project’s Joint Venture partner Teck Australia is currently undertaking a drilling program to define the overall size of the mineralised system at the Teena deposit whilst the Myrtle deposit hosts a current JORC Mineral Resource of 43.6 million tonnes grading 5.04% zinc and lead containing 2.2 million tonnes of zinc and lead. Teck is earning upto 70% by spending a total of $15 million by 31 August 2018.

In December 2012 Rox signed a Farm-in Agreement with Arafura Resources Limited to earn upto 70% of the Bonya Copper Project. With visible outcrops of copper grading up to 33% copper and 55 g/t silver present, Rox undertook an airborne Versatile Time Domain Electro-Magnetic survey which successfully identified ten conductive, potentially sulphide-bearing zones. Rox is currently investigating 3 of these VTEM anomalies as part of its current drilling campaign.
