* Aiming to become a significant copper, gold, cobalt and molybdenum producer from mining operations to be developed on four advanced projects, namely Kalkaroo, Mutooroo and Portia and North Portia.

* Interests in iron ore (Lilydale Iron Ore Project & Maldorky Iron Ore Project), tin (Prospect Hill Project) and hard rock uranium (Radium Hill Project).

* Extensive surrounding exploration tenements in the highly mineralised Curnamona Province of north-eastern South Australia, with good prospects for new discoveries of copper, gold, molybdenum, lead, zinc, cobalt and uranium.

* Strategic interests in uranium explorer Curnamona Energy Limited (45.4%), hot rock geothermal explorer Geothermal Resources Limited (58%) and Gawler Craton explorer, Monax Mining Limited (3.5%).

Exploration Potential

* Havilah controls more than 6500 square kilometres of continuous tenements in the well mineralised Curnamona Province that is prospective for a variety of commodities, including copper, gold, molybdenum, lead, zinc, cobalt and uranium.
* Geological setting of granite-cored structural domes that are cut by large regional fracture systems is conducive to the formation of major mineral deposits.
* Over $80 million (in current dollars) spent by major companies in the past has led to the discovery of numerous promising prospects, many with ore-grade intersections that have not been adequately drilled (see map).
* Extensive cover has masked the mineralisation, but geophysics, detailed knowledge of the regional geology and in-house drilling capacity has turned this to an advantage for Havilah (eg at Kalkaroo and Mutooroo, where Havilah’s drilling has outlined sizeable mineral deposits).
* Probability for discovery of repetitions of Kalkaroo style copper-gold-molybdenum mineralisation are high both in the Kalkaroo north and south domes and in other domes (eg Lake Charles, Eurinilla, Benagerie, Portia and North Portia domes).
* Widespread lead-zinc mineralisation in a particular horizon that is recognised throughout the region as the Broken Hill lode equivalent (eg at Deep Well and McBrides Dam prospects).
* Uranium mineralisation well known in Tertiary palaeochannel sands from the Beverley, Honeymoon and Oban discoveries.
* Major new mineral discoveries on Havilah’s ground are highly probable, and the Curnamona Province is likely to be transformed into a significant new metal mining province over the next decade.
