Bligh Mining Limited (ASX Code: BGH) is a listed public company focused on the exploration and development of manganese projects in Australia. The company holds almost 1,500km2 of highly prospective tenements throughout Australia. Our mission is simple: to be a successful and profitable manganese exploration and mining company that delivers returns for its shareholders.

Bootu Creek Two Project

The Bootu Creek Two Project covers 136.2km2 in the central Northern Territory. The tenement, EL27654, is located 40km south of the OMH Bootu Creek Manganese Mine. The geology and structural setting of the tenement area is very similar to that of the OMH Bootu Creek Project on ML24031. In Dec 2009, their project resource was upgraded to 32.9Mt at 23.1% Mn with an expected mine life of at least 15 years.

Kumarina Project

The Kumarina Manganese Project is in the Kumarina area of central Western Australia. The tenement is located approximately 125km south of Newman. The tenement is within the Peak Hill Mineral Field and covers a total area of 165.6km2. Previous exploration over the area of interest was limited and had focused mainly on the search for manganese, copper and diamonds.Bligh plans to explore the project area for manganese and copper.

Manilla Project

Bligh is targeting manganese deposits, mainly in the form of rhodonite, east of Manilla in northeast New South Wales. The area had a number of small rhodonite mines operating during the early 2000s but no exploration drilling has ever been conducted and as a result no large resource has been identified to date.

Grenfell Manganese Project

Bligh is proposing to target manganese deposits in the Grenfell district of southeast central New South Wales, along with other minerals; particularly gold. The company is aiming to bring new mining projects on-stream from within its portfolio of brownfield exploration projects, from areas that have not undergone systematic exploration since before the Second World War.

Leonora Gold Project

Bligh is proposing to target gold deposits in the Leonora district of Western Australia. The Leonora Gold Project has been subdivided into two discrete prospect areas, the Diorite King and the Mt Davis prospects. The leases were formerly held by Jupiter Mines Ltd. Leonora is located in the northeast Goldfields of Western Australia. It is 832 km from Perth via the sealed Great Eastern Highway and 230 km north of Kalgoorlie.
