Search Australian Mineral Deposits by Commodity

Australian Shares.com is an online database of information about Australian mining companies. The database fields you can search on include the company name, their ASX code and a list of minerals they mine or explore for. The latter is unique in that it will allow you to find companies that mine for any combination of minerals - for example, if you want to find every Australian mining company that has uranium mines or prospects, just put the word 'uranium' into the search box on the top left, select the appropriate button ('it's something in the ground') and hit search. If you want to find every Australian mining company that has uranium AND copper interests put the phrase 'uranium, copper' into the search box (you need to put a comma after every keyword). If you're looking for a company but you're not sure of their name, you can type a few letters of the name into the search box and it will find all matches for those letters - similarly, if you know the ASX code but don't know much else, you can out the code into the box and you'll see what company(s) match.
