Texon Petroleum Ltd is an oil and gas exploration and production company with projects in Texas, USA. The company owns a 100% interest in 15 oil and gas prospects onshore Texas (10 shallow and 5 deep) and since listing a further seven prospects have been leased. During November 2007, three successful shallow wells - Byron, Mermaid and Airlie began producing with the average production rate being 1,400mcfgpd and 12bopd. The company also expects to commence production from the Yamba and Avoca wells.
