Description
Takoradi Limited is an Australian-based company with a core business focus on minerals exploration and development. It has a significant African and South American portfolio of advanced exploration properties which have copper, gold, molybdenum, zinc, silver and iron ore potential. Takoradi now has directly and indirectly an interest in 12 exploration concessions in Namibia, Ghana, Chile and Peru.
Takoradi's strategy is twofold: to undertake exploration and development programs on its current portfolio of properties; and to evaluate new business development opportunities via organic growth and new acquisitions.
As a part of this strategy, Takoradi holds a 27.5% interest in Hampton Mining Limited (hampton) an Australian resources company which holds it's South American mineral interests.
Takoradi also holds a 100% interest in Nimrod Metals Limited, a private Bahamas registered company holding rights to the potentially significant 70% owned Kuiseb copper/gold resource project in Namibia, South Western Africa.
The highly credentialed Takoradi Board of Directors each has more than 25 years' of corporate and operational experience in coal, gold, copper and other base metals.
Takoradi also continues a limited development program of its software application for use in the mobile telecommunications industry. However, this operation is soon to be divested by sale, joint venture or distribution in specie (to shareholders).
