Tawana Resources NL (TAW) is a minerals exploration company primarily focused on diamond exploration. The company has projects in South Africa, Australia and Botswana, with projects include both diamond bearing kimberlites and alluvial.

Tawana aims to become a diamond producer within 2 years. Primary focus is on the South African projects, which have been extensively explored. Pre-feasibility study into Perdevlei, Kareevlei Wes and Tawana alluvial diamond project is expected to be completed by October 2005. In May 2005, Tawana completed Black Economic Empowerment agreement, selling 26% of its South African interests and forming a JV with a South African company to meet the foreign ownership requirements. Tawana Resources reported positive cash flow of $329,000 for quarter ended 30 September 2008. Operating cash flow for the period was $(684,000). Payments for exploration and evaluation were $(159,000). Investing cash flow was $666,000. Financing cash flow was $347,000. Cash in hand at the end of the quarter was $387,000.
