Use Experience & Technology to locate areas of High Survey Potential

Acquire Land and Rights over these areas
Oversee early phases of operation
Bring in Partners to Fund Expansive Geochem Surveys and Drilling
Focus on a mix of ‘lower risk’ prospects for early cash flow with some higher risk high reward prospects
Low risk prospects in the Surat Basin, Bass Basin and Otway Basin close to production areas
Higher risk prospects in EP 97 Pedirka Basin (NT), with 50 mmbbl + potential
Alternative energy start-up projects (Uranium)

Surat Basin - ATP 837P - Oil & Gas
A 200 square kilometre 3-D seismic survey commenced January 2009, as part of the CSG farm-out to TRUenergy, the data w ill be acquired by Velseis using Envirovibe trucks as the energy source. This data will be processed and interpreted to enable precise drilling targets to be defined for oil and traditional gas within the area.

Udacha Gas Field (Rawson 10%) - Oil & Gas
Brownlow -1 discovery, has potential Gas and Condensate pay in the Patchawarra sands the same as at Udacha and Middleton. Udacha, Brownlow and Middleton could be linked together to supply gas to the Santos network in 2009. Rawson has a 10% interest in the Udacha gas field.

Taranaki Basin - New Zealand - Oil & Gas
Blocks PEP 51153 and PEP 51155 were awarded in September 2008 to Rawson Taranaki Ltd.(30%), Hardie Energy New Zealand(30%) and Kea Petroleum Ltd(40% and Operator). In PEP 51153 the year 1 program is to drill Puka-1, spend NZ$650,000 on seismic and conduct gravity and geochemical surveys. In PEP 51155 the year 1 program is to spend NZ$1,00,000 seismic and conduct gravity and geochemical surveys, followed by a well commitment at 20 months.

Otway Basin - PEL's 154 & 155 - Oil & Gas
3-D Seismic was acquired in January in both the Nangwarry and Benara areas, funded by Hardie Energy to earn 50% in each of the two PEL's. This data has been processed and is currently being interpreted, and a well will be drilled in each area in 2009. The interests at the drilling stage will be: Rawson 37.5% and operator, Hardie Energy 50% and Energetica Resources 12.5%. Technical supervision is by Energetica Resources to earn a 12.5% interest.

Surat Basin - Coal Seam Gas
Rawson Resources Limited (Rawson) will begin a five well CSG drilling program in the Surat Basin, Queensland, in mid-November, 2008. Rawson has a 15% interest in two permits, ATP 837P and ATP 873P, in the Surat Basin, Energetica Resources Pty. Ltd. has a 15% interest and TRUenergy Queensland Pty. Ltd. (TRUenergy) has a 70% and is the operator. TRUenergy will use the Ancon Rig 1 (see picture below) to drill, core and test up to five CSG exploration wells. Initially, these first wells will be drilled in ATP 873P (WSNB-2 & WSNB-1) to a depth of about 500m to test the Walloon Coals, which are productive for CSG in the adjacent Lacerta Gas Field operated by Sunshine Gas.

Pedirka Basin - Coal Seam Gas
Recent drilling by Central Petroleum in the permit adjacent to the west has high graded the potential for Permian CSG plays in the northeast of EP 97. In Blamore-1 the Permian coal - bearing sequence is up to 600 metres thick. Negotiations are underway with an interested farm-in partner willing to fund the CSG exploration program. Seismic and a number of wells are planned for 2009, in the north east of the permit.

Uranium
Leasing has begun in the Rawson Uranium project in Central Montana. Here the operator of the program Geochemical Exploration Services Inc of Dallas, Texas has located several outcrops of lamproite dykes which have anomalous surface uranium. Detailed radiometric and magnetic surveys were completed in October 2008. The joint venture has further leads that it may also lease in the region.
