Padang Resources Ltd formerly Palace Resources Limited was admitted to the Australian Stock Exchange on 15 December 2006.

Padang's goals are to create a sustainable exploration and development business focussed on resource opportunities in the Indonesian resource rich region. Palace has a strong management team which has a track record of acquiring and developing mineral projects, Asia Pacific region.

As Padang's projects form in maturity its intention is to become a producer of high quality metallurgical coal, copper, gold and iron ore for niche export and commercial markets.

Padang is aggressively exploring and developing resources in the South-East Asia region, particularly Indonesia, by way of acquisition and/or profit sharing/equity swap. To further strengthen these acquisitions Padang has built strong relationships within Indonesia in various commercial aspects.

Padang is strategically aligned to secure projects that are located in close proximity to all key infrastructure and support services which presents Padang with the opportunity to take advantage of both the internal markets of south-east Asia and the export markets throughout the region.
