Description
Pacific Ore Ltd (formerly Trajan Minerals Ltd) developed and patented BioHeap, a bacterial heap leach process for the extraction of base metals from sulphide ores. Trajan is a nickel, copper and platinum exploration company with its main focus on the Litchfield Project located in the Northern Territory and recently acquired Pacific Ore plc. The project comprises two areas: Litchfield and Daly River and the company was primarily set up to enter into a Farm-in Agreement with Discovery Metals Ltd for the project and intends to use funds raised from the IPO to fund an exploration program on the tenements. Other projects include the Huogeqi Project (50%) which is a JV with Western Mining in China and a feasibility study will commence.
