Description

Pepinnini Minerals Limited is a diversified, ASX listed Exploration Company focused on developing and discovering major new Australian mineral deposits. The Company has secured strategically located exploration tenements in the Musgrave and Curnamona Provinces of South Australia, the Woolgar Goldfield/Georgetown Inlier of North Queensland and the Robinson Range Iron Ore Province of Western Australia.

Pepinnini Minerals Limited currently has an interest in 44 tenements covering approximately 16,225 square kilometres with potential for the rapid discovery and exploitation of major new Australian mineral deposits.

Uranium Project

* Sinosteel Corporation and PepinNini Minerals Limited have completed a strategic alliance for the joint participation and co-operation in the exploration and development of the Crocker Well and Mt Victoria Uranium Deposits and other commodities in the Curnamona Province of South Australia.
* 2,385 sq.kms. of uranium prospective ground held under granted exploration leases. An additional 1,393 sq.kms. under application Crocker Well Uranium Field includes six deposits over 4 sq.kms containing 11.66 million lbs of U3O8. (Combined Indicated and Inferred JORC compliant resource of 18.84MT @ 0.28kg/tonne (0.03%) U3O8 based on a cutoff grade of 150ppm).
* Mt Victoria Uranium Deposit contains an Inferred JORC compliant resource of 250,000 tonnes @ 1.6kg/tonne (0.16%) U3O8.
* Very high grade surface samples (up to 26kgs/tonne U3O8) from newly discovered Becaroo Prospect
* 26 additional known primary uranium prospects within granted tenements yet to be explored
* Potential for Palaeochannel Uranium Deposits
* Potential for unconformity related Uranium Deposits

Musgrave Province Project

PepinNini Minerals Limited is currently undertaking exploration programs designed to target nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation and base metal mineralisation in the Musgrave Province, South Australia. PepinNini has a 100% interest in four granted exploration licence and six exploration licence applications covering approximately 9,601 sq. kms of the Musgrave Province of South Australia. In addition PepinNini subsidiary PepinNini Resources Pty Limited is earning a 51% interest in EL3931 and ELAs 278/82 and 491/94 covering approximately 1,382 sq. kms under a Farm-in and Joint Venture Agreement with Rio Tinto Ltd subsidiary Rio Tinto Exploration Pty Limited.

Prospective targets for mineralisation have been identified in all tenements held by PepinNini. Radiometric and gravity data indicate large outcropping or relatively shallow ultrabasic intrusions of the Giles Complex are evident in each of the currently granted tenements and represent priority exploration targets for nickel copper sulphide mineralisation with associated cobalt, gold and platinum group metals. The Giles Complex is considered to be highly prospective for nickel-copper sulphide and platinum group element mineralisation following the discovery of the Nebo-Babel deposit in Western Australia by WMC (392Mt @ 0.3%Ni and 0.33%Cu).

Curnamona Province Project

The Curnamona Province of South Australia is highly regarded for its exploration potential for Broken Hill style mineralisation as well as strata bound sediment hosted Mt Isa and Century style mineralisation. The potential for copper and gold mineralisation of the iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) type has been highlighted over the past decade through discovery of prospects such as Portia, Shylock, Kalkaroo and White Dam. PepinNini Minerals currently hold a 40% interest in four granted tenements EL 4239 Kalabity, EL 4375 Bimbowrie, EL 3472 Outalpa and EL 3587 Scott Hill and an application for an exploration licence ELA 928/04 Mt Victor located within the Province. The tenements cover approximately 3,778 sq. kms and contain numerous prospects that warrant further investigation to explore the potential for economic mineralisation.

North Queensland

PepinNini Minerals has established a significant presence in North Queensland with 22 exploration tenements and 1 mining lease covering approximately 2,146 kms2. Priority gold and base metal exploration targets have been identified in EPM 15440 Percyville and EPM 15547 The Return whilst uranium and phosphate targets are identified in EPM 14834 Plain Creek.

Robinson Range Iron Ore Project

* Potential exists for Iron Ore deposits within the Robinson Range Banded Iron Formation in the southern part of Peak Hill Mineral Field.
* The potential Iron Ore deposits have grades of up to 65% Fe with low phosphorous content.
* Under a farm-in and joint venture agreement PepinNini Minerals Limited has earned a 50% right to the iron ore potential contained within three tenements and a 40% right in four tenments held by Grosvenor Gold Pty Ltd covering approximately 700sqkms in the Robinson Range area of Western Australia.
* Limited exploration undertaken in 1970's for iron ore identified up to 200 small patches of iron ore with grades of up to 65% Fe overlying the iron formations in Robinson Range.
* Rock Chip samples within E52/1964 returned grades up to 65% Fe with low phosphorous contents.
* Resource potential based on the 1970's surface sampling program indicated that up to 60Mt of ore with a grade of >50% iron may exist to 60 metres.
* No drilling has been undertaken on the targets defined by previous explorers, and the grade and continuity of mineralisation at depth remains untested.
* PepinNini Minerals has identified approximately 40 kms strike length of the prospective Robinson Range Formation within the JV tenements and has completed a detailed 250m grid gravity survey and a detailed surface mapping and sampling program to assist in identifying priority drill targets.
