Minerals Corporation Ltd is an exploration company with tenements in far north Queensland near the major port of Weipa.

The current tenements comprise a 20% interest in EPM 4068 and 5% interests in three applications, MDL 423, MDL 425 and EPM 18242. Based on exploration work completed to date, kaolin deposits located on EPM 4068 require further delineation and assessment. Furthermore there are also a number of untested kaolin targets worthy of follow-up investigation.

The Company is in the process of finalising its recapitalisation. Work has commenced on a comprehensive review of all historical exploration data associated with the Tenements. This will include the digitisation of all existing information into a GIS database with a view to cataloguing all trench, pit and drilling work conducted to date. The collation of all information into a central database will facilitate the generation of a work plan designed to investigate the location and extent of additional kaolin deposits as well as refining and building upon kaolin deposits already identified on the permit. Detailed laboratory testing of material sampled from exploration activities will be conducted as a priority as it is recognised that kaolin quality is the determinant factor in commercialising any deposit(s).

The Company is also working on the identification and evaluation of new mineral resource opportunities in Australia and overseas. This process of identification and evaluation includes all types of minerals.
