Description
Minemakers (ASX Code: MAK) has two of the largest rock phosphate projects in the world. The Company's Wonarah Project has JORC & NI43-101 Compliant Inferred Resources at 1,258Mt @ 12% P2O5.
Wonarah is also the only Australian rock phosphate project granted Government Major Project Status and enjoys important Traditional Owner and stakeholder support. A positive Direct Shipping Ore ("DSO") Feasibility Study and bulk sampling operation were completed in 2010.
The other world class phosphate deposit, Namibian Marine Phosphate project, with a (42.5%) direct interest, which has a JORC Compliant Resource of 1,507Mt @ 18.7% P2O5, Minemakers is aiming to become a new world force in rock phosphate. A recently completed positive Scoping Study and strong economics supports the full Feasibility Study that will commence in 2011.
Minemakers has a further portfolio of strategic minerals comprising several projects with significant identified resources, and others with highly prospective mineral targets.
