Longreach Oil Limited (ASX Code : LGO) is an Australian oil and gas exploration company. It was first listed on the Sydney Stock Exchange in 1954 and has been listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) since its formation. Longreach seeks to play an effective role in exploring for and developing oil, natural gas and energy projects in Australia and elsewhere in the world and continues to concentrate its efforts in that regard.
* LGO has direct interests in various oil/gas and energy projects - including "hot rocks" and uranium
* LGO also has indirect interests in oil and gas exploration and production:
* in the USA - through its equity interest (about 10%) in the ASX-listed AusTex Oil Ltd (AOK)
* in Queensland - through its shareholding in the unlisted Brisbane Petoelum Ltd.
