Hawthorn Resources Limited (Hawthorn) is an Australian diversified base metal and gold explorer with significant strategic tenement holdings throughout Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland. The Company has a strong portfolio of managed and joint venture projects held by Hawthorn and its subsidiaries Ellendale Resources and Northern Resources Australia.

During this time, Hawthorn expanded its focus from gold exploration within tenements in Western Australia's South Laverton Exploration Zone to include exploration effort towards the company's high priority iron ore, uranium and base metal prospects.

Exploration of select and under explored prospective gold targets continues.Hawthorn also has a broad portfolio of projects where joint venture partners including ABM Resources, Newmont Exploration, Barrick Gold, Thundelarra Exploration, Regis Resources and Quantum Resources are earning equity via exploration - providing Hawthorn with leverage to potential base metal and gold discoveries.
