Greenvale's interests in Oil Shale Deposits
In the 1980's, the Company and its sister Company Esperance saw the opportunity to acquire interests in oil shale deposits as oil prices increased significantly due to the oil crises.
The Partners were successful in attracting joint venture partners to investigate the development of the Lowmead and Nagoorin projects. The Company has since added the Alpha project to its suite of projects.
Presently, with the continued awareness of the requirement for sustainable energy options, the possibilities offered by oil shale are being increasingly considered.
