Gloucester Coal is a publically listed Australian mining company with exploration and mining operations in the Gloucester Basin and the Hunter Valley in NSW and Middlemount, in the Bowen Basin, QLD.
Gloucester Coal has open cut and underground mining operations in coal rich areas of NSW and QLD. The Company's NSW assets include Stratford and Duralie open cut mines in the Gloucester Basin and Donaldson open cut, plus Tasman and Abel underground mines in the Newcastle Coalfield. In QLD, Gloucester Coal Ltd has joint control and holds a near 50 per cent interest in Middlemount, located in the Bowen Basin.
