Description

USA Projects

The Slanovich 32-23 well was drilled and tested approximately 25BOPD with 75BWPD. Prior to drilling, detailed information on the play type presented was assembled by the Company and evaluated for merit. This is reproduced below and it should be noted that substantial upside exists in this play.

Fall River Resources Limited has entered into an agreement whereby they will earn a 15% percent working interest in 12,000 acres (=18.75 sections = 4856 hectares) of leasehold in the Canon City-Florence Basin of Colorado in return for paying 15% of the cost of the Slanovich 32-23 well and reimbursing part of the lease acquisition costs.

Australian Project

Fall River Resources holds exclusive rights to 8 geothermal exploration licenses (GELs) covering circa 3850 km2 of the South Australian Heat Flow Anomaly (SAHFA) (Figure 1), where the Company will explore for and appraise for geothermal heat resources. Here, Fall River Resources aims to commence exploration on the southeast edge of the Flinders Ranges within a thick sedimentary succession of the Adelaide Geosyncline, a region of high heat flows.

Initially work will concentrate on the ORROROO 1:250 000 geological map sheet where recent research has resulted in a well understood surface geological model which Fall River Resources intends with further detailed mapping and structural cross-sections will provide a 3-D geological model allowing identification of specific target, stratigraphic, heat zones including potential diapiric structures.

The presence of a possible source of heat, as shown on magnetic data, greatly enhances the possibility of suitable temperatures reached at economic depths within the GELs compatible with the hosting of geothermal resources. The portfolio of GELs provides substantial scope for regional as well as more localized evaluation of the geothermal potential in this area.
