CityView Corporation Limited (CVI, formerly Cityview Energy Corporation Limited) is an Australian based resource company, with principal activities are the acquisition and development of commodities such as gold, oil, base metals, rare earths and diamond in Africa. In 2009 under the approval of the Board of Deanshanger Project Ltd the company became the largest shareholder of Anglo Diamond and Fortitude shares. Other events in 2009: moeny was put up by a syndicate of European investors so that cityView could acquire one third of the refinery; in June 2009, CityView announced that planning would go underway so that the objectivies could be reached at Longonjo, Chachoeiras, Chipindo, Nhefo and Luachisse; September 2009, Cityview signed an agreement to acquire 74% of Velvogen Pty Ltd a SOuth African corporation - Velvogen is a coal briquette plant with in-feed system of high grade coal fines.
