Consolidated Tin Mines Limited is an ASX listed exploration company with projects in the lower Herberton Tin Field in northern Queensland, one of Australia’s premier tin producing fields. The Company is focused on discovering and developing major tin deposits at its Mount Garnet project area. The company has acquired an impressive portfolio of advanced tin exploration projects in the area which it plans to transform into a major mining operation to deliver significant returns to the Company’s shareholders.

The Mount Garnet Project area is made up of the following projects; the Gillian Project, the Pinnacles Project and the Windermere Project.

· The Mount Garnet Project has a total JORC compliant resource of 7.3Mt @ 0.60% Tin (Sn) and 5.2 million tonnes @ 26.39% Iron (Fe) and 0.96 million tonnes @15.25% Fluorite (F).

· This resource includes a JORC Measured Resource of 1.2 million tonnes @ 0.82% Sn, and a JORC Indicated Resource of 824,100 tonnes @ 0.73% Sn at the Gillian Project.

Consolidated Tin is run by an experienced Board of directors with a proven record in exploration and mining, and a team of skilled professionals with extensive geological knowledge and exploration experience. The Company’s vision is to develop a major Australian tin mine and become the premier hard rock tin producer in Queensland.

Gillian
The Gillian Project is the most advanced project in the wider Mount Garnet Project area. To date (as at February 2010) Consolidated Tin has drilled a total of 4,454 metres across 81 holes at the project and it has a JORC Measured Resource of 1.2 million tonnes @ 0.82% Sn.

Pinnacles
The Pinnacles Project is located within EPM 14185 just east of the town of Mount Garnet. To date the Company has drilled a total of 1,949 metres across 50 holes. The project has a total JORC Resource of 1.87 million tonnes @ average grade 0.41% Sn across three deposits (Wager, Sniska, Hartog).

Windermere
The Windermere Project consists of MDL application 381 on an area of 347 hectares. At present the project has a JORC Indicated Resource of 401,500 tonnes @ 0.49% Sn confirmed only over the Deadmans Gully part of the project area.

Never Can Tell
The Never Can Tell Project is located in the northern area of EPM 14185, in the headwaters of Wyndham Creek that was worked for alluvial tin during the 1970s.

Jimbilly
The Jimbilly Project is located north of the Never Can Tell workings. A small hill was quarried in the 1960s and quartz veined granite with visible wolframite was exposed on one side of the hill.

Coolgarra
The Coolgarra group - includes the Alhambra Mine (430 tonnes tin concentrate production) and Magdala Mine (130 tonnes tin concentrate production).

Battle Creek
The Battle Creek Project is within EPM 14185 over which two Mining Lease application have been lodged by Consolidated Tin Mines Limited. The project is located about 6km east of Mt Garnet near the small village of Battle Creek close to the Kennedy Highway.

Return Creek
Tableland Tin Dredging (TTD) began bucket-line dredging in Return Creek in the early to mid 1930s. The alluvial area was divided into three parts; upper, middle and lower. The Upper Return Creek produced at least 200 tonnes of concentrate and probably much more.

Nettle Creek
The Nettle Creek Project alluvial deposits are located within the three granted MLs 4069, 4073 and 4074, contiguous over 6 km of Nettle Creek, about 10 km east of Mount Garnet. The MLs are surrounded by, but are separate to, the south eastern portion of EPM 14185.

Lynd & Tate River
The Tate River area, approximately 80 km west of Mount Garnet, is a historic alluvial tin mining area. The McCord Granite, a member of the O'Brien’s Creek Super suite of granites, has intruded into Proterozoic age McDevitt Metamorphics.

Leichhardt Creek
The Leichhardt Creek alluvial deposit is located within Mining Lease Application 20615, 180 km north of Mount Garnet, 85 km from Mareeba and about 2 km from the Mulligan Highway, located approximately 10 km south-east of Mount Carbine.
