Description

Carrick Gold Limited projects are based on a tenement holding of about 450km2 in the Eastern Western Australia Goldfields region, near Kalgoorlie.

The Company has five key project areas within close proximity: Kurnalpi, Lindsay’s, Kalgoorlie West, Spargoville and Kalpini. Carrick has already identified three exciting gold deposits at Lindsay’s, Kalpini and Kurnalpi’s Brilliant projects.

It has a host of other exciting prospects which are the focus of its ongoing drilling program.

Kurnalpi Project

The Kurnalpi Project is located 90 kms from Kalgoorlie. The shallow gold deposits that have been identified at this project should be amenable to open pit mining. Carrick’s near-term goal is to continue exploration and increase the mineral resource beyond one million ounces of gold, making it likely to become the second mine to be developed after the Lindsay’s Project

Lindsay's Project

The Lindsay’s Project is located in a well-established gold region, about 50 kms north east of Kalgoorlie. It is Carrick Gold Limited's most advanced project and it is proposed to be the first to be mined.

The Lindsay’s Project is prospective for development as a long-term, open pit mining operation.

It has achieved certified JORC resources across the measured, indicated and inferred categories.

The Lindsay’s Project consists of three main structures: the Eastern Structure, the Central Structure and the Western Structure.

Carrick is exploring several targets across these structures with the aim of defining a minable resource to move into production.

In terms of mining and processing, sample testing has returned almost a 60% gold recovery from gravity separation. Cyanide leaching of same sample feed recovered 98% gold. Further metallurgical testing has also been conducted.

Kalgoorlie-West Project

The Kalgoorlie West Project was acquired by Carrick Gold Limited in early 2009. It comprises of five prospects, covering approximately 90km2.

The Project covers under-explored areas within an established gold producing district. While there has been limited systematic exploration, numerous advanced target areas have been outlined, including drill-ready targets generated from historical exploration data.

Two high priority targets have been identified, the Zuleika Shear Project and the Ora Banda South Project, which were the focus of the initial exploration effort.

The Zuleika Shear is located near the Mount Pleasant mining centre, which has produced over 3 million ounces of gold.

Spargoville Project

The Spargoville Project includes 16 tenements covering approximately 55km2, with a strike length of approximately 37 km across six separate project areas.

The Project covers under-explored areas within well-endowed gold districts. They are located in an area hosting several historical and recent mining operations including the high grade Wattle Dam Gold Mine, owned by Ramelius Resources.

Kalpini Project

The Kalpini Project, which lies between Lindsay’s and Kurnalpi, has the potential to be developed as a satellite deposit, contributing mill feed to either of these near by projects.

Carrick Gold Limited has identified a JORC resource in the inferred and indicated categories at this site.

A little over 300kg of gold has been produced from the Kalpini mining area by other operators in the area and a resource of approximately 475kg of gold was identified at Mayday North. Mayday North has been recently mined by open cut.
