I have held ALK for several years. Alkane is likely to be the next, after Lynas, to produce and have a wide range of strategic and rare earths minerals of interest including tantalum, niobium, vanadium, lithium and the much sort, but rarely found, heavy rare earth elements..Read more: http://www.smh.com.au/business/alkane-ready-for-next-big-step-20120103-1pjf8.html#ixzz1iTk6Av29 They were well received at Australia's first Rare Earth conference in Sydney last year. This year's REE conference should be even more interesting than last years as several projects are now coming nearer to fruition.

ALK is unique and without peer in its resource of heavy REO minerals. It would astound me if it is not gobbled up by an overseas company and I'll lament that our government will let it happen.
