Main ForumCudeco strong gains and large capital input coming soon?

  • Cudeco (ASX: CDU) strong gains on bonanza gold results

Share price movement last week... note the increased volume!

With gold grades like those represented below it is not hard to see why. (The co-credits are of great interest…. Tellurium is used for thin film cadmium-tellurium based solar applications and Australia has only two other companies with published deposits.)

And adding to the excitement CDU has now gone into a trading halt. I wonder how many 100's of $millions are going to be added to the coffers?

    A quick catch-up:

    • Cudeco has now leased ex-BHP port facilities at Townsville
    • Cudeco has permission and state government financial support to build a rail line from mine to port
    • Cudeco now has a mining license
    • Cudeco has one of Australia's richest Copper, Gold, Tellurium, Cobalt deposits.

    I hold CDU
  • Hindsight: The share price for CDU spiked to $4.20 before falling back to $3.50.

Cudeco's market capital is the problem for me as an investor: they are worth 650 mill and have not yet made a cent from digging or producing anything. In 2012 they made money from other peoples money (cash injections and a currency trade) and so made a profit.

CDU's CFO has value, I'm not sure about CDU's projects.
